Prozac Pros and Cons

​Prozac, also known as fluoxetine, is a type of antidepressant medication that is commonly used to treat depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. It is one of the most popular and widely prescribed antidepressants on the market since the 1980's. While Prozac has been proven to be effective for many people, there are also some drawbacks. Pros of Prozac:

1. Proven effectiveness: Prozac is a widely studied and tested medication that has been shown to be effective in treating depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. It is part of a group of medications called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI's) which work by increasing the levels of serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that is associated with feelings of peacefulness and happiness.
